"SCION 5" TO DRIVE 2010 SCION EXPOSED
Planning Panel Eager To Fuel "Best Event Ever!"
After careful and measured consideration, five dedicated SCION owners, representing four states, have been selected as members of the "SCION 5," our Event Planning Panel for SCION Exposed 2010.
The "SCION 5" will attend an initial planning meeting on February 12, 2010, at our SCION Regional Office in Cincinnati, Ohio. A meet-and-greet and dinner will be followed by a lively discussion of "what we like" and "what we don't like" (not much of that!) regarding SCION Exposed. The input we receive from this lively and learned panel will serve to shape what certainly should be the "best event ever" this coming Summer. The "SCION 5" will serve as your opinion pipeline as well so, please, make your voice heard by contacting them via the contact buttons provided below. Be sure to sign up for SCION Scoop too – the place to get all the news that is (SCION) news!
Meet the "SCION 5!" |
Charlie Sweeny: Michigan Representative
I am the National Sales Representative and Engineer for www.scionpro.com and Dare 2B Different Motorwerks. I have also consulted with Airlift Suspension on the design of their Easystreet Air ride suspension systems for the Scion lineup.
Kent Cadotte: Ohio Representative
I have owned my tC since March, 2005. I'm a member of OhioScions and love everything about owning a Scion. I also enjoy cycling, kayaking, and photography. Now, I'm getting into RC Boats! See you at Exposed!
Matt Newberry: Ohio Representative
I hail from northeast Ohio and own a supercharged 2007 tC. I've been an active member of OhioScions.com since May, 2008. In addition to driving my tC, I enjoy sailing on Lake Erie during the summer and am an avid science-fiction fan.
Bennie Causby Jr.: Kentucky Representative
I'm a Princeton High School (Cincinnati) grad. One of my favorite classes was focused on automotive. I worked at Hamiltons Custom Corvette where I learned the art of automotive body repair. Later, I attended Cincinnati Technical College majoring in Automotive Service Management.
I'm a member of the Queen City Scions. I am also an on-line member of Ohio Scions and Club xB. I drive a 2005 Scion xB that I call Toy Bx. I fell in love with the xB at first sight. My xB is no longer stock and is done to my taste – which makes the Scion theme genuine!
Brian Sowders: Tennessee Representative
Hey there! My name is Brian Sowders. I currently call the great state of Tennessee my home. I was born in Cincinnati Ohio, lived most of my life in Ohio...BUT...am a diehard Wolverine!! I am an engineer by day...and, by night, fight crime as a superhero...no wait...that last part is someone else! Anyway...I have been married to my beautiful wife going on 4 years now and am the founder of Music City Scions based in Nashville, TN. For as long as I can remember, my passions have been wrenching and racing, both cars and motorcycles. It started at an early age and shows no signs of stopping! I am truly grateful, excited, and honored to be a part of the Scion family and community.
